My name is Abani Ahmed and I am a senior at Princeton University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, with minors in Technology and Society and Urban Studies. I am passionate about how humans interact with all forms of technology, from the stories we see through video, the games we play alone or with others, and the websites we interact with daily.
At a traditional school like Princeton, I was able to learn about the foundational principles of Computer Science, but with my own drive in my extracurriculars and free time, I made sure to still showcase my deep understanding in modern technologies, practical problem-solving, and innovative approaches to software development and more importantly, UI/UX design.
As a New Yorker, I am also very passionate about urban areas and design, taking various courses in urban histories, computational design, and a graduate level course in technology and the city.
My diverse experiences and work across fields such as game design, marketing, and within arts nonprofits have shaped my unique perspective and approach to designing for real people. I hope that through exploring my little borough on the internet, you too can get inspired, feel creative, and catch a glimpse into the passion and dedication I bring to every project.
